I WAS supposed to update my journal when I graduated from High School/Upper Secondary School or whatever it is called in your country. (in Finland we call it 'Lukio' )

So I did mostly good
And I don't actually care about those anymore, because the school is over!


To other news!
I began to look for a job at very early in this year (in January). I seriously had given up when June came. I had applied for about 8(?) jobs and didn't seem to have any.... Because now is economic recession going on, even less and less jobs are given to summer workers.
So you can only imagine HOW happy I was when I was phoned yesterday, that they will take me to this one job!! I screamed (as long as I could with my broken/sore voice) and I jumped around our house for few minutes when I heard that!
Today I met some of my co-workers. We will make a great time, I think. The job is about packaging Koskenkorva and Finlandia Vodka (-> Finnish vodkas) and the packages we pack (I understood) are then send to all over the world (like in United States).
There are 10 of us doing all the packaking; 9 women and 1 man. I like it better that way, because I think I'm more shy with men around. And it's a team job, so we will be together much---> I'm looking forward to it.
All the other seems to be a little older than me. I turn 19 on next monday(29.6) and everyone else are aged about from 20 to 23, but that's okay with me.

So... the first work day is on Monday (on my birthday) so I'm kinda excited now. :ecxited:
And you may not know, that I have never had a summer job (or any kind of job) before, so this is really big thing to me!

the job will end in the end of August and I will have totally about 22 days of work----> so I will not have job every day (from 7 to 15.30) so I'm very happy because of that---> I can go all lazy between some working days.


And this week has been the most sunniest and warmest week in Finland so far in this Summer!!! And I have spend about all my days now in the nearest beach, Sääksi (and it's btw the most largest spring in Finland, so it has very clear and clean water! ) ... And I even did go to swim yesterday for the fisrt time in this summer... and I can tell you the water was FREEZING!! D: But I hope it will get warmer

That's about it this time.... I will get my result from university by 14th and 21st of July... In those days I will know WHETHER I managed to get in to university OR NOT. D: the 14th is the date of my psychology studies and the 21st is the date of my plan-B (some uninteresting studies of statistics D: ). But I know MANY many recently graduated won't get any studying place. :/ That's the way in here... a certain amount of university and polytechnic studying places are open for people (like 46 new students per year in psychology) so you can just imagine what happens when about 30 000 recently graduated Hich School students try to get in those institutes. o___o And PLUS the students that graduated already in last year BUT didn't get in any studying place then are now TOO applying for those institutes.

So.... It sucks.


But. you can't always won. xD
